Grampone Stone Atelier, a business of Praedis Group LLC ("Grampone", "we", "us"), is a family-operated boutique that helps homeowners and design professionals choose and buy natural stone. This policy explains what information we collect through gramponestone.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what we need to answer you, quote your project and deliver your stone. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Information you give us
- Reservation and quote requests: your name, email, phone number, delivery ZIP code, project details, measurements, the slab you're interested in, your fabricator (if you have one) and any notes you add.
- Trade Program applications: your name, email, phone number, company name, profession, website, city and state, a short description of your business, a password, and, if you choose to provide it, your resale or tax ID.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media.
Information collected automatically
- Your wish list is saved only in your own browser on your device. It is not sent to us unless you share it.
- Sign-in cookies. If you have a Trade account, we set a secure cookie that keeps you signed in. It is used for nothing else. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Some slab photography is loaded from our suppliers' image servers, which receive the same kind of technical information.
How we use your information
- To confirm availability, place holds, prepare quotes and arrange crating and delivery.
- To introduce you to a fabricator partner, if you ask us to.
- To review Trade Program applications and run your trade account: pricing, projects, holds and spec sheets.
- To reply to your questions and keep you updated about your order.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
We will only send you marketing emails if you ask to receive them, and every such email will include a way to opt out.
When we share information
We share only what is needed to complete your project:
- Stone distributors and freight carriers, to hold, crate and deliver your slab (for example, your name, delivery address and phone number).
- Fabricator partners, only when you ask us to connect you.
- Service providers that run our website, database and email on our behalf, under obligations to protect your information.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Trade passwords are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form that we cannot read, and tax IDs are encrypted. Staff see only the last four digits. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep reservation and order details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Trade account information is kept while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to what the law requires us to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can close your Trade account at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights. We honour them all and will never treat you differently for using them. Children
Our site is meant for adults planning home and design projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
