Terms of Service
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms apply when you use gramponestone.com or reserve, buy or receive stone from Praedis Group LLC, doing business as Grampone Stone Atelier, a New Jersey company ("Grampone", "we", "us"). By using the site or sending us a request, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Listings, availability and prices
Inventory comes from our distribution partners and changes daily. A slab shown as available may already be sold. Prices, slab counts, sizes and freight figures on the site are estimates. Your price is fixed only in the written quote we send you, which states what is included and how long it is valid. We may correct errors in listings or prices at any time before you accept a quote.
2. Reservations and holds
Sending a reservation request is free and does not create a purchase or any obligation. Once we confirm the slab with the distributor, we place a courtesy hold in your name and send you a firm quote. Holds are temporary: their length depends on the distributor and is stated in your quote. They may be released if the quote is not accepted in time. We cannot guarantee that a slab will remain available before it has been confirmed.
3. Orders and payment
Your order is placed when you accept our written quote and we receive payment by card or wire as stated in the quote. Slabs are released from the distributor only after payment. Sales tax is charged where required, unless you give us a valid resale or exemption certificate.
4. Delivery
We deliver crated slabs by freight anywhere in the mainland USA, to your home, job site or fabricator. Delivery dates are estimates, and freight carriers set the final schedule. Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery and that the site can be reached by a freight truck. Extra services, re-delivery or storage may be charged as quoted.
Inspect on arrival. Please inspect the crate and slabs when they arrive, note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing, take photos, and tell us within 48 hours. Damage that is not noted at delivery may not be covered by the carrier.
5. All sales are final
Because each slab is reserved and shipped specifically for you, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. Damage that happens in transit is not a return: report it as described above and we will work with the carrier to make it right. If you need to cancel before your slab ships, contact us right away. Any charges passed on by the distributor or carrier will be explained in advance.
6. Fabrication and installation
We sell stone; we do not fabricate or install it. Templating, cutting, sealing and installation are performed by your fabricator or, if you ask us, by one of our trusted partners, who are independent businesses responsible for their own work, pricing and warranties. Please have your fabricator confirm measurements, slab count and suitability for your project before you order.
7. Estimates and guidance
Our slab estimator, "best for" suggestions and stone guides are general information to help you choose. Final slab counts depend on your fabricator's layout, seams and vein matching.
8. Trade Program
Trade accounts are for qualifying design and building professionals and are approved at our discretion. Trade pricing, holds and spec sheets are for your business and your clients' projects, and should not be shared publicly or resold as a listing service. Please keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may change trade benefits, or suspend an account that is misused.
9. Using our website
Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, scrape it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful. The site's design, text and branding belong to Grampone Stone Atelier. Product photography belongs to its respective owners and is shown for reference only.
10. Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as project delays or the cost of other trades. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, please contact us. Most concerns can be resolved with a conversation.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in place when you accept a quote apply to that order.
